Congratulations CA Sri Lanka for introducing voluntary reporting disclosures on gender equality

The Chartered Institute of Sri Lanka has introduced a new reporting initiative for reporting on gender parity by companies. These  indicators will be voluntary disclosure requirements, but will be considered best practice and considered for the 2020 annual reporting wards . See https://www.casrilanka.com/casl/images/stories/2019/pdfs/disclosure_on_gender_parity_reporting.pdf

This is a step in the right direction, but we need to consider how the public sector (beyond companies and country boundries) should respond and what further development of the indicators are needed. Do governments need to take a fresh look at their annual reports? We think so! It would be good to hear your views so please contact us at
