Read the latest blog from the Auditor General of South Africa (AGSA): Strengthening Women: Securing the Future 2019 DAG Blog (Public Finance By Women)FINAL
The AGSA's commitment to opportunity for all and gender equality means that women represent over 50% of executive roles and over half of the workforce. The AGSA is also focused on developing young female talent as a key part of its strategy. The Deputy Auditor General, Tsakani Maluleke writes, ‘there is no need for women to take a backseat to their male counterparts’. The AGSA hopes that their efforts will be replicated, in the industry. Public Finance by Women certainly couldn't agree more and fully endorses this, so other organisations please take note.
The AGSA’s progress is captured in the recently launched a special edition of the Audit Thought Leader magazine. This is dedicated to the women of the AGSA and celebrates the strides the organisation has made over the years in its gender equity journey. It is a must read. https://www.agsa.co.za/Portals/0/Audit_Thought_Leader2019_1.pdf
