We will be responding the IPSASB consultation paper 'Advancing Public Sector Sustainability Reporting' by the requested deadline on 9 September 2022. We believe that this is important work by IPSASB heightened by the current climate emergency and disproportionate impact on women. Governments around the world need to do a lot better in this area. Many have shown progress in the past, but sustainability was often defined in different ways by countries. The SDGs should help to provide a framework for new reporting.
